It is exactly how it looks like at the office of “Thermo Fisher Scientific”!

Last Tuesday more than a dozen of members of BMI Alumni had an opportunity to visit the main headquarters and production site of the company that was recognized as the Investor of the Year by Verslo žinios this week. Same journal has also recognized General Manager of the Company Algimantas Markauskas as CEO of the year in 2015. Changing company culture to LEAN principles had a lot to do with it.

Sr. Business Excellence Specialist Alina Štura at “Thermo Fisher Scientific” has introduce Alumnis with activities of the company and walked everyone through the daily routines of the meeting system – from the meeting of the employees at the warehouse to the top management. Also explained how finance department benefited from LEAN principles and how did the company managed to achieve their goal to implement any order of their employee on the same day. With almost zero waste.
